Thierfelder Builders, Inc. is owned and operated by Bob and Sue Thierfelder.  As a family business, we offer personalized attention, excellent service and an understanding of all of the significance and value of “Home”.

We believe that at the completion of the building process the best thing anyone can say about their builder is that they trust them. It is important that the homes we design and build reflect what is significant to our clients from their values to their style.  Our goal is to strike a balance between streamlining the design and construction process and working out every detail to our clients’ satisfaction.  With the best possible craftsmanship, completed efficiently and thoroughly, our clients are able to enjoy the building experience.  We are committed to service that extends far beyond what our clients expect.

Designing The Home

We work with our clients to gain their input and then follow through on turning their thoughts and ideas into a beautiful reality.  By working closely with our clients and listening carefully, we learn what is important to them and build it into their dream home that is aesthetically pleasing, yet functional, and keeping within their budget.

Building Green

We believe that it is important to take every opportunity, as stewards of our land, to minimize waste in building, build a home that is environmentally friendly and use the products that will enable our clients to enjoy lower utility costs.  Sue is a member of the MBA Green Council, helping us to be continually updated on the new products and methods of construction.  We also attend green building seminars to learn in greater detail about new methods and ideas.  We focus on energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and use of recyclable products. Our History

Beginning in 1978 as carpenter contractors and transitioning into custom home building in the mid-80’s, we build approximately four to six homes per year.  Typically, we will have two to three renovations each year as well.  We keep a schedule that will enable us to do the very best for each client.  Our clients’ complete satisfaction is our daily goal.  Our business of over 32 years has predominantly been built on word of mouth and referrals.  Our reputation means everything to us.

Our Mission Statement

It’s the Golden Rule … “do to others what you would like to be done to you” … and it is how our parents taught us how to live our lives.  We believe that the building experience can and should be a pleasant one.  We build each home as if it was for ourselves and we strive to exceed our clients’ expectations.
